Galerie Calderone was founded in Dinard in 2010 by Mirko Maria Calderone. Immersed in the art world since childhood, he champions contemporary artists in whom technique, beauty and sensitivity are inseparable: works that hold up through their craft as much as through what they make us feel.

The first gallery opened on the Plage de l'Écluse. Since 2019 it has occupied 20 rue Levavasseur, in the centre of Dinard, a small seaside town with more than twenty galleries. In summer 2026 a second space opened in Saint-Tropez, at 14 rue Joseph Quaranta.

The gallery champions contemporary art: oil painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics and textile art. The artists it represents come from France, Italy, Spain, Cuba, Germany and Ukraine; some have been with the gallery since its beginnings, such as Françoise de Felice, shown since 2010. The gallery has also shown prints and engravings, from Philippe Mohlitz to the masters of ukiyo-e.

Beyond its walls, the gallery presents its artists at contemporary art fairs in France and abroad: ST-ART in Strasbourg, Art Up! in Lille and Grenoble, the Affordable Art Fair in London, Brussels and Hong Kong, the London Art Fair, Context Art Miami. It also publishes limited prints signed by the artists, and offers businesses art leasing with an option to buy.

We follow our artists over time, from one exhibition to the next. Coming to the gallery means seeing the works up close, at the right distance, and talking about them with the people who champion them.
